1st Line UC Support

We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated 1st Line UC Engineer to join us, as we continue our exciting growth. You will join our existing technical team and will be responsible for completing all technical projects, providing remote and onsite technical support services to customers. 

About The Job

Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
Permanent, Full-time
Monday to Friday: 37.5 hours per week (9am – 5.30pm)
Start as soon as possible

You will be handling requests raised by our ticketing system, calls, emails and other means, which must be managed through to resolution, to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. You may also be required to attend customer sites from a pre-sale, install, fault resolution and customer support perspective.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Elements of all 1st line queries – raising faults broadband, adds moves and changes for IP Systems
  • faults resolution
  • Understand customer needs and recommend/build solutions that meet these needs
  • Prioritise, progress and resolve technical queries and service requests assigned in accordance with standard and customer-specific service level agreements
  • Remotely support for Hosted systems.
  • Order and configure hardware (routers)
  • Book analogue line and broadband/ethernet installations/migrations

Skills & Experience required

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in supporting technical issues in the telecoms sector is required.
  • Previous experience in delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and relationships.
  • Passionate about supporting clients and finding the right solutions for them.
  • High detail-oriented and motivated
