Redsquid completes 3rd acquisition in 7 months

Redsquid has acquired MSP Epoq IT in a move to further enhance its presence as a managed services specialist in the UK market.

The acquisition was funded by a larger facility from Triple Point, which stays as a dedicated funding line for more acquisitions in the future. Altenburg Advisory gave advice to Redsquid on the deal.

After acquiring two organisations in the summer, Redsquid has achieved B Corporation certification, which strengthens its relationship with Triple Point, another B Corp. With a strong partnership and shared values, we can keep growing as part of our strategy to buy and build.

The two founders, CEO Sohin Raithatha and COO Vince Mignacca, will remain the only shareholders of the business, which they have grown organically and through six acquisitions for the last 17 years. Redsquid will continue to be headquartered in Hertfordshire, and with the acquisitions expand on its local presence in the London area.

Sohin Raithatha, CEO of Redsquid, said: “This is an exciting moment for the Redsquid Group, as we welcome Epoq IT and continue our mission of creating positive change through technology.”

“Acquiring Epoq is an important step for Redsquid and our growth journey – only seven months after the last two acquisitions in the summer. This underpins our growth strategy, and our dedication to providing innovative and sustainable solutions to our customers.”

“With Epoq, Redsquid gains a powerful foothold in our local areas, and we are continuously focused on expanding and making a difference to our local communities. Epoq will now become a part of our mission for a more sustainable industry, and joining the group will bring the benefits out to customers and partners alike.”

“We have had a close relationship with Epoq over the years and have followed the strong partnership they have with their customers. With the acquisition, we look forward to introducing the rest of Redsquid’s technology portfolio into their customers organisations so they can benefit from the simplicity of having one unified partner through the Digital Transformation.”

“We look forward to integrating Epoq into the Redsquid community and combining our people, partners and customers – together we will continue our growth and journey to make a difference together.”

Gary Swanwick, Founder of Epoq IT, said: “After over 20 years of providing a customer centric service it was important to select the right fit for Epoq IT.

Redsquid stood out in a crowd, aligning with our values of great customer service, looking after our people, and setting high standards alongside a clear vision for the future. In an ever-changing landscape, together, we can now offer our clients and team a future that meets the challenges of today’s world.  The future, with Redsquid, is exciting as we join forces and can offer an expanded portfolio of services to our clients.”

This is Redsquid’s sixth acquisition, and third in seven months. The acquisition of Epoq is supercharging Redsquid’s ambitions as it looks forward to continuing its growth, both organically and through more acquisitions, to scale and expand its local presence across the country, while bringing resilience and an opportunity to make a true difference to its customers.

Redsquid was advised by Bower and Bailey Solicitors.
