Redsquid are Sleeping Out for Byte Night

Redsquid are pleased to announce that we will be taking part in this year’s Byte Night fundraising event, on the 6th October.

In an effort to raise money to help the 390,000 homeless and vulnerable children in the UK, a team of Redsquid employees will be spending one-night sleeping rough, alongside thousands of other people across the country. Byte Night is an annual event involving tech and B2B companies, that will be celebrating its 9th anniversary this year.

Since its very first iteration, Byte Night has managed to raise over £9.6 million for Action for Children: the charity that the event was created to support.

Considering our company history with the YMCA and the Watford Orbital Community Centre, Action for Children’s cause is close to Redsquid’s heart. We’ve already managed to raise almost £3000 for the YMCA, thanks to Sohin’s successful charity hike earlier this year. However, we’re always striving to do more for our community, so Byte Night is the perfect opportunity to get out there and give more support.

We’ve put a team of all-star fund-raisers together, including; one of our sales admin team: Amy, our Customer Service Team Leader: Natasha, and a member of her team: Lee, as well as our UC Support Manager: Jack. The Redsquid team have been tasked with raising £3000 for Action for Children, and hope that much of that money will be given in support of them sleeping rough on Byte Night.

If you’d like to get involved, then you can look forward to further announcements of related fundraising activities in the future, including a Cake Sale at our offices next week!  You can also donate to Redsquid’s Byte Night team right now, over at their JustGiving page.
