Redsquid’s Final Triumphant Charity Quiz of The Year is a Success!

Held at a local Toby Carvery pub, our last charity quiz of 2018 saw entrants testing their festive knowledge on a selection of Christmas themed questions. The competition was close, but our team of squid brainiacs proved their mental metal in the final round and clinched a win. However, in the spirit of Christmas they kindly donated their prize hamper to the runners-up, believing that the victory was reward enough.

Helping to make this fantastic night happen, were several organisations generous enough to donate a selection of fantastic prizes for both the quiz and the accompanying raffle, including; MOD Pizza in Borehamwood, The Venue in Borehamwood, M&S, Hair by Debi, and Cherry Lodge Cancer Care (our chosen charity). We also have our quiz-master, Dean Swann to thank for doing a fantastic job of helping host the event.

This means that our charity committee’s grand fundraising total for this year is an amazing £2,507! Which will all go to helping Cherry Lodge to support local cancer patients, so well-done guys.
